Why? The high flying tag team of the 80s vs the high flying tag team of the 90s in a clinic of acrobatic action.
Angle: The Hardy’s reign as Tag Team Champions, boasting they’re the best ever. Young and cocky, they call out Shawn Michaels, claiming they’re better high flyers than he ever was. HBK loses singles matches to Jeff and Matt due to cheating/intereference. After also losing a handicapped match against them both, HBK brings back his old partner to show them who was the best.
Could it still happen? The Rockers other half, Marty Jannetty, has made in ring WWE appearances in recent years. At the time of this writing Jeff Hardy is in TNA, but down the road this still could happen AND still be good.
Who would win? The Hardy Boys get the torch passed to them.
